Rendering Scientific and Health News – Immune System Discovery & Screen Time and Sleep
The second Zoom meeting took place on April 28. During this session, students of group 44 continued preparing for their final state exam by practicing rendering. They worked with two new articles from BBC News Ukraine: one about scientists discovering a new part of the immune system, and another about how screen time affects sleep. Each student rendered a section of the articles, focusing on accuracy, terminology, and natural-sounding English. The group discussed vocabulary, grammar choices, and possible challenges in translation. This practice helped the students deepen their understanding of medical and scientific language and further develop their rendering skills.
