Rendering Practice – Translating News Articles from BBC News Ukraine
The first Zoom meeting took place on April 17. During the session, students of group 44 prepared for their final state exam by practicing rendering – translating and summarizing texts from one language into another. They worked with newspaper articles from BBC News Ukraine, taking turns to present their renderings. The students listened to each other’s versions, received feedback from the teacher, and discussed different translation strategies. This activity helped them improve their translation skills, expand their vocabulary, and feel more confident before the exam.
